The School aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practise.  It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.

PTA

The PTA at Hutton All Saints’ is a successful and enthusiastic committee, organising many fund-raising and social events throughout the school year.  The PTA’s main aim is to provide the school with much needed resources to enhance the children’s education and the School’s facilities.

In the past many facilities have been provided by the PTA. The latest have been:

·        Landscaping of Reception playground

·        A Digital Camera, to record those special moments in school.

·        Additional funds are provided for coaches for pantomime trips, and for smaller items, which are needed in the school and classrooms.

·        Outside play equipment for quiet play

As a parent of children in the school everyone is automatically a member of this thriving PTA.  The Committee holds meetings regularly and always welcomes parents to attend.  There is always plenty to do as a PTA member but they pride themselves that it is not always hard work and hold many social events during the School’s term time.  The PTA Committee encourages parents to attend the PTA events and appreciate the assistance that parents give.

The PTA holds an AGM in the Autumn term where the new Committee is voted in.  Advance notice of the date is given out to all parents together with nomination forms.  The PTA extends an invitation to all parents of the school to attend both the regular meetings and the AGM.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

The School Council plays an important part in school life. Representatives from Years F to 6 make up the committee.  We value the input given by the children who take their roles very seriously.  They discuss items such as bullying, after school clubs and provision at playtimes.  They spend a great deal of time sorting out other children’s individual problems and this has been particularly successful. Children are able to approach any members of the council to discuss issues.  The meetings are conducted in a mature and professional way, with minutes kept and  an agenda written.
