ESSENTIAL SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS(Please Read)
Thank you to all the parents who are encouraging their children to wear school uniform, they do look smart. May we remind you that for safety reasons, no jewellery should be worn to school apart from earrings or that worn for religious reasons. It is also important for health and safety that appropriate clothing and footwear is brought into school to change into for P.E. We also encourage children to bring water in small plastic bottles, so that they have easy access to a drink during the day.
Key Stage 1 pupils will continue to receive free fruit for morning break. If Key Stage 2 pupils wish to bring a snack for break they may bring in fruit. Crisps, sweets and chewing gum are not allowed in school. A healthy tuck shop is run by Friends of the School on Friday mornings.
For health and safety reasons and with the limited space in the cloakrooms, we would like you to send the children onto the playground between 8.45 and 8.55 a.m., where the teachers will collect them. If you bring children to school, we are happy for parents to wait with the children on the playground.
If children arrive late, this is after 8.55. a.m., they will need to come through the front door as the cloakroom doors will be locked.
Dinner money is now £7 per week. Please send in your child's dinner money in an envelope every Monday morning. Please ensure that your child's name and class are clearly written and that if you pay by cheque it is made payable to "Coventry City Council". The children will hand their envelopes into their class teachers. |
