Welcome to our school website. It is designed to provide information about the significant range of opportunities we offer students at this highly successful and popular community school.
Our school motto is ‘Enabling young people to achieve success’ and this underpins everything we do. Our new purpose built building will be opened in September 2008 and this will provide an outstanding learning environment in which to work. The state-of-the-art facility will then match the school’s very good examination results, the quality support and guidance and wide range of extra-curricular activities we provide for our students.
In summary, Allerton High is all about providing opportunities and achievement for all our young people so they achieve their very best and go on to contribute significantly as learners in different contexts and as members of the working world.

Our Mission
Allerton High School is a true Comprehensive Specialist School, aiming to achieve excellence at all levels. Within a clear and firm structure, it seeks to develop self-discipline and individual motivation amongst its students, encouraging them to make fullest use of all the opportunities open to them. By opportunities, through the core subjects, Sport, the Arts, social and extra-curricular provision, we seek to extend students to the limits of their capabilities.
Our aim is to ensure that every student ‘achieves success’.
The teaching and support staff of the school are pledged to develop their own expertise in order to ensure that we have the ability to develop every student’s potential. We will set high expectations for your child and work actively with you to monitor their progress and share their successes.
Emphasis is placed on spiritual, cultural and moral growth for all members of the school community. We expect every student to have self respect and respect for others.
Teaching and learning takes place within the context of the wider community. Links with commerce, industry, F.E. Colleges, employers and Higher Education are all being extended. The school serves and benefits from the surrounding residential and social environment with a commitment to use its buildings and facilities for a wider population.
