We are a county Junior Co-Educational School, part of the Normanton Pyramid. We cater for children from 7 to 11. Most of our children transfer to Normanton Freeston High School |

The school was formed in September 1977, and transferred to our present, purpose built premises in November 1977. In September 2001 we changed from a Middle School to a Junior school as part of the Normanton Pyramid reorganization. |
The spacious and attractive building is semi-open plan, with four group of three classrooms linked by shared areas. There are practical areas for home studies and Information and Communication Technology, together with a library, dual purpose Hall for assembly and Physical Education/Drama and a pleasantly carpeted room for musical rehearsal or TV. |

The extensive grounds surrounding the school provide a pleasant environment including space for soccer, rugby and rounders pitches together with an athletics track in summer. There are additional netball and tennis courts which serve as an extra playground space for children during break times. |
