School Boards have now been replaced by Parent Councils. Last session a working group was set up produce the Constitution for the Parent Council. We now require to elect members of the Parent Council. According to the Constitution we are aiming for two parent representatives from each stage of the school, the commitment being approximately one formal meeting per term. To this end and to present the Constitution, a meeting of all parents (officially the Parent Forum of which all parents are members) has been arranged in school for 7pm on Thursday 30th August. We anticipate that the meeting will last for no more than 30 minutes after which P1 parents will be able to attend the event arranged for them at 7.30pm. The former school board and head teacher would be pleased to have a good turnout for this important matter. If, indeed, you cannot make this meeting but would be interested in serving on the Council, please get in touch with the head teacher. |

Pupils' Council
Hi, this is the Pupil Council page and we want to make changes for the school to make it a better place. You can ask us if there is anything that you would like changed within the school or if would like to see something new introduced.
We have regular meetings usually on Wednesdays. We organise competitions, new equipment for the playground and other matters. Miss Cassells and Mrs Cook attend our meetings. After each meeting we go back to the class and report what was discussed.
How to Contact Us

1. You can leave a note in the Pupil Council Box that sits on the Pupil Council tables in the open area. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
2. You can speak to your Pupil Council Representative. S/he will discuss your idea at the next meeting.
