Our Vision
We, the staff, governors and parents of Ardley Hill Lower School, will work together to provide a secure, happy environment where all children receive a well balanced education appropriate to their individual needs.
Ardley Hill was built in 1969 and is set in spacious and attractive grounds. There are 262 children on roll making up ten classes which are well maintained and resourced. Each classroom has their own toilet facilities and cloakroom area. We are continually developing our provision for disabled children and have recently built a disabled toilet. There is also a large hall which is used for P.E., assembly and at lunchtime as a dining room. |

The above picture shows the quiet area. The PTA provided this area with trees and benches for those children who do not wish to rush around at playtime.
The school has an outdoor swimming pool, which is used during the second half of the summer term. The children benefit from a qualified instructor to teach each class in rotation.
We have an ICT suite of fifteen computers with a large range of software all of which are linked to the Internet. All the classroom computers are linked up to the internet as well.
Our School Travel Plan is attached at the bottom of this page. |
