WELCOME!
We are a Church of England Voluntary Controlled school set in a beautiful rural village called Binegar in Somerset. We have talented pupils aged from 4 to 11 in two classes.
We have a new classroom for Class 2 pupils with a learning resource centre including a library and suite of computers. Both classes enjoy using interactive whiteboards.
Our school meadow is large enough for football and lots of other sports. We have a quiet seating area in the playground and plenty of picnic benches.
We are extremely proud of all that goes on here.
As our website demonstrates, the children at Binegar are supported in their learning by dedicated staff, governors and parents.
We are a small Church of England village school. We encourage strong links between the school, community, family and the parish church in preparing a child for life.
We believe that each child has God given talents and natural ability to become a whole person. Our aim is to share in that development with you the parent.
We encourage each child to grow within themselves a sense of adventure in their approach to learning by making each area of the curriculum a challenging and enjoyable experience; an experience which will lead them towards developing an enquiring and independent mind.
We strive to provide a learning environment in which everyone feels included, valued and respected. An environment that is stimulating and caring.
It is our aim that each child will strive to achieve their full potential.
