All the above fees are subject to an annual inflationary increase. PGCE tuition fees are set to increase in 2008/2009 and we will publish the new fee here as soon as it is announced. Eligibility for assistance with tuition fees In order to be eligible for funding to assist with the cost of your tuition fees, you must: be a UK/EU national; and have been ordinarily resident in the UK (and islands) or the European Economic Area for the three years before the date your course begins; and be resident in the UK on the first day of your course; and not already hold an honours degree; and studying a course which qualifies for funding (all our undergraduate and PGCE programmes qualify) If you have a prevous history of studying in Higher Education in the UK, or if you have arrears owing to the Student Loans Company, your entitlement to further funding may be affected - please contact Student Support for more information. For more information about student finance please refer to the Student Finance website.

Part-time Students

Part-time Students NON-REPAYABLE
Income-assessed: up to £1150 in 2007/2008

A Part-time Fee Grant is available to help with the cost of part-time students' tuition fee costs. How much assistance a student receives depends on the intensity of study (students must usually study at least 50% of the full-time equivalent course to be eligible for assistance) and their financial situation. Additional funding may be available form the University College's Access to Learning Fund - please contact Student Support for more information. Part-time students should contact their Local Authority for more information, or visit the Student Finance website. International Students A different fee structure applies to international students, who will be asked to pay £7,725 for one year's study in 2007/2008 (this fee is subject to an annual inflationary increase). The UK government does not provide financial support to assist international students with tuition fee (or living cost) support. International students should ensure they have secured all funding necessary to cover living costs and tuition fees before leaving their home country.
