The Organisation of Broomgrove Junior School
●Our school opened in 1971, and caters for boys and girls, aged 7-ll.●Currently there are 210 children on roll.● We have eight classrooms ● A Library-Research Centre● A Hall with fixed apparatus● A learning resource classroom● Broomgrove School is fortunate to be set within large grounds. ● As well as a playground we have a Quiet Garden ● Environmental Pond Area● A heated open air swimming pool which is shared with the Infants School.
●All the teaching staff are qualified. ● Classes are unstreamed. ● Pupils are set for mathematics across the year group. ● Boys and girls are not separate for any activity. ●Class sizes vary from about 22 pupils to 30 pupils.●Children are taught in year groups, except when the numbers make it impossible and two year groups have to amalgamated.
