WELCOME TO CLAVERHAM NURSERY
At Claverham day Nursery, every child is respected as an individual and his/her needs are met accordingly. Each child will be given time to develop at their own pace with support from their keyworker. They will enjoy the benefit of working in small groups and with individual attention from staff who are dedicated to providing the best opportunities for them. The children's developmental needs are taken into account when planning the nursery curriculum. The provision and learning outcomes are reviewed every five weeks.
We value the role of parents/guardians in the nursery and feel it is important that there is a good rapport between you and the staff in order that we may give your child the best care. We know how important it is for you to have feedback from the nursery and there will always be a member of staff on hand to talk about your child's day. We hope that our warm, friendly atmosphere will help you and your child feel welcome and a part of the nursery as a whole. This is also promoted by our open door policy.
We have built up strong links with the wider community and actively encourage the children to explore their environment. We invite outside professionals to talk with the children, e.g. police, nurses, road safety. We also take the children out and about on nature walks, trips to the library and visits to the local primary school. We endeavor to give the children a wide range of experiences in order to promote a well balanced curriculum.
