Our Nursery acting out 'The Owl and The Pussy Cat'
NURSERY
The aim of the Nursery Class is to provide a safe, structured, happy environment where children can develop a sense of achievement and confidence through their learning.
Children in the Nursery and the Reception class follow the Foundation Stage Curriculum. Each half term there will be an overall topic and we plan all our activities within the six areas of learning:
1. Personal, social and emotional development 2. Communication, language and literacy 3. Mathematical development 4. Knowledge and understanding of the world 5. Physical development 6. Creative development
We meet every Thursday and Friday from 9.00 until 11.15.
Toddler Group
We adopt a very relaxed atmosphere whereby the children can play with all the toys provided, stop for refreshments, then play again. We end the morning by singing and playing musical instruments. The children range from newborn babies up to pre-school years. It is not only an excellent way for children to learn to play and socialise together, but for the mothers to meet and feel part of a very welcoming community.
We meet every Tuesday from 9.30 until 11.15.
