The school is a small village school serving the local rural community. The building was originally built in 1894. The junior classroom was built in 1912. The infant classroom was added in 2001.
Coelbren is a former mining community. The village nestles on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is easily accessible from Neath and Swansea. The school enjoys a picturesque location with mountain views. Henrhyd Waterfall is situated in the village. |
