On behalf of myself and all the staff and Governors, welcome to Cotmanhay Junior School.
Thank you for taking the time to read this brochure which I hope will prove to be a useful introduction to our school and will help answer some of the questions many parents have when their child starts Junior School.
We aim to ensure that each child in our school is given the opportunity to succeed to the best of his or her ability. We endeavour to promote self-confidence and tolerance whilst developing those skills necessary for a happy, productive and successful life both as a child and as a future adult.
We believe in a co-operative relationship with parents and we consider it a vital part in the smooth running and success of the school. We will always be pleased to see you to discuss your child’s progress and explain what your child has been doing and will be doing in class. We feel that time spent talking with parents is always time well spent.
If there are any points arising out of the information in this booklet which you would like to discuss further, then please do not hesitate to contact me at school.
