Welcome to  South View Community Primary School

Slide Show

On behalf of the Governors, staff and pupils I am very pleased to welcome you and your child to South View Community Primary School. Moving from home, school or playschool can be a big step for children and we will do our best to ensure that your child is made to feel happy and secure at South View.

South View is a school in which there is a caring, dynamic and positive ethos
  • Staff are committed to working as an integrated team and to improving standards
  • Success is widely celebrated and pupils and staff continuously seek to develop new talents
  • School gives a lead to the moral and social direction of our community
  • Staff motivate pupils with their knowledge and enthusiasm for learning, and pupils respond by progressing quickly and seeking knowledge independently
  • Students and parents contribute to the aims of the school via the Home/School Partnership

We expect our pupils to behave well and to work hard. Good manners are essential. Pupils are expected to respect their peers and adults and to set a good example both in and out of school. Our school is a caring place and the staff go to great lengths to ensure that our children work in a happy and secure environment.
