| - We aim to encourage our children to work hard and play hard and be thoughtful and kind to others.
- In their first year we help them to become full members of the Downside School community.
- By the end of four years here we expect them to be well rounded, confident children ready for the challenge of Middle School.
- It is our intention that the families here feel welcome and at home when they come into school.
- We will share in the highs and lows of life and offer support and advice if sort.
- Through target setting for the individual child we are able to predict levels of achievement and ensure that every child reaches his/her full potential.

- We are proud of our children's endeavours and achievements.

| - Each year an action plan is prepared for the school in order that we always keep moving forward.
- We hope to have our Playground resurfaced when funds allow.
- This academic year we are planning and working in our Garden 2000 to develop a spiritual garden which will reflect the faiths of the pupils here.
- Each year we aim to improve on our academic results and recently we have all been working hard to raise the standard of writing.
- The overall trend of results show that we are making steady progress year by year.
- Three class room kitchen areas are being refurbished which will add to the attractiveness and easy care of the children's environment.
