ABOUT US
GLENBURN HIGH SCHOOL Opened in September 1967, as a seven form entry purpose-built comprehensive School, with a roll of 1,200 boys and girls from the ages of 11 to 18 years with a staff of over 62. Work started on the site (incorporating both the Westbank and Glenburn sites) in february 1966, and was completed in May 1969. The total contract cost was £1,120,000 and furnishings £150,000.
The official opening was on Thursday 3rd June 1971, and was performed by HRH The Duchess of Kent.
