Linda Brown (Mrs), Headteacher
Grace Mary Primary School was built in 1959, and opened in April of that year. The first substantive Headteacher was Mr T. Porter (1961), followed by Mr Alan Powell, (1978) Mr Jim Mumford (1997), and finally Mrs Linda Brown who became the Head in September 2005.
It is believed that the school was named Grace Mary after a local miner who was influential in the locality and had two daughters. When the school was built is was proposed that it should be named after his two daughters, hence Grace Mary Primary School. If any readers can add additional information to this, please get in touch!

School Uniform
School uniform is an important part of being together as a school. We encourage all pupils, right through from Nursery to Year 6, to wear uniform as it enables children to look smart and unites the school as a community.
Uniforms can be purchased and ordered from our fabulous office team, or alternatively items can be obtained from A. Oakes located in Dudley and Oldbury. Come and have a look at our stylish uniform!
