Dear Parents/Carers
Welcome to Great Hollands Primary School. We know that choosing a school for your child is an important decision and we take this opportunity to thank you for your interest and to invite you to come and see what we can offer your family.
Great Hollands Primary School is proud of its many strengths and of being a school that offers excellence within a happy, caring and supportive environment, in which parents/carers and governors play an active role.
We are very lucky to have a large, green field site within the centre of Great Hollands, which is easily accessible to the community and which provides us with many opportunities for learning out of doors.
We are extremely well resourced with a purpose built gymnasium, excellent ICT facilities and extensive grounds. We are an inclusive school, committed to providing an education that provides equality of opportunity for all children in an environment in which they feel valued, respected and fairly treated. Our children have fun. We know that this is the best way to learn. So we dig in the mud, share the bikes, build with bricks and boxes, enjoy books, do lots of writing, make friends, spend lots of time outside, count and learn to care for our nursery and each other.
It is really important to all the staff to create a safe, happy and caring environment that stimulates and challenges your/our/ the children.
We warmly welcome the children and their families appreciating that this is the child’s and often the parents first contact with school. It is so essential that the first experience of school is a positive one. |
