ABOUT US

Heap Bridge School is a Group 2 school with approximately 165 children. The school was opened in 1912 to cater for the children in the Heap Bridge area but now also includes children from the Summit Estate, and Darnhill and surrounding farms.

The atmosphere at Heap Bridge is that of a small village school and we are able to develop close relationships between teachers, parents and their children.

Parents organise and supervise a bus service which transports children from Summit to and from school.
