About our school
On these pages you can find out more about our school. The history page shows you the origins of the school and how it has become the school it is today. As you'll see, the school dates back to 1878, and there have been many changes along the way.
We've also included a page of parent's comments, to demonstrate the standards the school has reached today. We'll always welcome comments from parents, so please contact us if you have anything to add.

Admissions
There are 24 nursery places available at each morning and afternoon session. Part time children attend Nursery from 9am to 11.30am or from 12.45pm to 3.15pm. Staff will inform parents when their child is due to start part time education. Parents are then invited to a new parents meeting, visits to Nursery with their child, and also offered a home visit.
Children are admitted in two intakes each year - September and January, according to their date of birth. They will be admitted in the term prior to their 4th birthday.
The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 sets an upper limit of infant class sizes of 30 pupils. It applies to all Key Stage 1 children (Reception, Year 1, Year 2).
