Holsworthy Community College is the vibrant, successful centre of learning for a large rural area of beautiful North Devon with fourteen feeder primary schools. The College community is totally inclusive and we welcome links with the whole spectrum, from the very young to older members attending adult education classes. We are very proud of all our achievements in this learning community and aim for excellence in everything we do.

The College is a Community mixed comprehensive, 11 — 16 day school. Devon County Council’s Children and Young People’s Services Directorate has responsibility for Youth Services in the Holsworthy catchment area and the Adult and Community Services Directorate for Adult Education.

This educational community seeks to provide a happy and stable environment in which all who are part of it can be helped to develop their full potential. We seek to develop respect for, and the understanding of self, other people and the environment. We believe we are here to learn and that learning is fundamental to our development

  • munity of pupils, parents, teaching staff and support staff recognise the value of learning and is committed to ensure that each of us has the opportunity to develop our strengths.

  • We shall provide a caring environment where young people are able to develop and work as members of a community.
