Welcome to our school website. We hope you find it useful to learn more about our school. Children are at the heart of our school, and we hope this website gives a flavour of what we are trying to achieve here.

The Governors meet once a month during term time,as a full governing body .Normally this gives 3 meetings a term. In at least one of the meetings, they aim to focus on one aspect. For example , recently they have developed a new prospectus,and worked on the School Improvement Plan. Governors also help plan budgets, set policies, agree admissions, and monitor the work of the school.They visit the school regularly and observe lessons or talk to pupils about their learning. The governors have been involved in developing a new set of aims which reflect the sort of school we are trying to develop.

The Curriculum is planned into a 2 year rolling programme. We are constantly aiming to improve our curriculum to keep it broad , challenging and interesting to the children.

Recently we have developed new planning for history, geography and design technology, as well as using video, sound and images as a stimulus for literacy.We teach French from entry to Nursery and are introducing Spanish also
