ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Hurst Green Primary School has approximately 400 children between the ages of 4+ and 11+ years of age, grouped into 14 classes. The school is pleasantly situated and is part of a well established residential area.
The building was opened in 1969 as a County Primary School and was designed to hold 274 pupils. The school is built on one level and forms a rectangle around a central garden.
A new block of classrooms and toilets was opened in September 2006 to accommodate the growth in student numbers.. The school has its own playing fields, the football pitch being shared with Halesbury Special School. There are also areas of hard playing surface and play facilities around the school. |
