Hydesville Tower School is an independent co-educational day school for just over 360 pupils between the ages of two years nine months and sixteen. The Nursery, Infants, Junior and Senior Sections of the School are conveniently located on the same campus in a pleasant suburb of Walsall.

Teaching at all levels is always in small classes with about 15 pupils per class. Many classes are often smaller, especially at GCSE level. Consequently, the happy, disciplined atmosphere of the School and individual attention means that all pupils reach excellent academic standards. Hydesville has an enviable reputation for 11+ and GCSE success. The School welcomes visitors and prospective parents at any time and to your convenience.

“Welcome to Hydesville Tower School. We pride ourselves in being known as ‘The Family School’. It is a happy learning community comprising Nursery, Infants, Juniors and Senior Schools on a secure suburban campus in Walsall.

A good all-round education is what we aim for at Hydesville. Although all our pupils certainly aim for academic success they also gain awards in music, speech and drama, and computer skills. They acquire much, much more besides. They learn the values of self-discipline and personal integrity.

If you are going to gift your child a first class education, you need to be sure your choice of school is the right one. The best way of learning whether the ‘Hydesville Headstart’ would suit your child is to come to Hydesville Tower School and discover it for yourselves. You will receive a warm welcome and be given an introduction and tour by myself or a senior member of staff during a working day . I look forward to meeting you here.

We are looking to grow the School to meet the increasing demand for places in good independent schools. Many parents already know that their child's present school is not what they want for them. Those who are informed give themselves choice. Come to Hydesville at any time, see our thriving school with well-behaved, confident and happy children.”

Aims/Mission Statement

To provide an enriched education of the highest possible quality by recognising each child as an individual, by ensuring that class size is small enough for the individual to be noticed, and by encouraging the fullest development of each child's abilities.

We aim to accomplish this in a structured and safe community where the children can learn and develop self discipline built upon consideration for others.
