Welcome to our Website as we begin our new Autumn Term 2007. We have many, many exciting things planned for the children this term - our newsletter will be with you very shortly to confirm the many school events.
May I again stress that children must not be taken out of school during term time.
There are procedures in place to ensure continuity of education for all children and it is essential that parents adhere to Local Authority and to school policy in this respect.
The children are a great source of pride to us all and it was lovely to see so many of them in their new school uniforms. We are hoping that this trend will continue and that you will encourage your child to wear the correct uniform with pride, including the school sweatshirt.
You should now all be aware of the new rules issued by the DfES which are designed to cut out dinner money arrears completely. Dinner money should be paid in advance and any child owing more than a few days will need to bring in a packed lunch as a school meal will not be served when arrears exist.
If you feel you may be entitled to free school meals please call the school office or speak direct to the Catering Manager on 01582 490181 who will be happy to help you.
As always, thank you so much for your ongoing encouragement for the many events that take place in school.
We really do appreciate all that you do and and I would like to say a big thank you to so many parents who give us their full support. We look forward to sharing our continued success with you and your children and to working closely with you.
We are always pleased to hear from you and welcome your comments which, of course, you can leave on the Guestbook section of our website!
With my very best wishes to you all for a happy and successful term,
Linda Crick Headteacher
