Welcome To Jerry Clay Lane
Jerry Clay Lane School is a small school set in the suburbs of Wakefield. It was built in the 1970's and is surrounded by school playing fields. Children have usually attended Wrenthorpe Pre-School or private nursery before starting two terms part-time shortly after their fourth birthday. They leave at the end of Year 6 when they turn 11 and usually move on to Outwood Grange College.
The School is calm and caring and the children feel proud of their work and are very eager to please. The children have a very positive work ethic and it is the 'norm' to produce good work.
