We have just had a new nursery built. It is lovely and colourful inside. There is an interactive whiteboard, just like all the other classrooms in the school. The children in nursery have lots of fun things to do both inside and outside every day. |
The children in reception worked with an artist to create this area. It has been here a couple of years now and lots of children have enjoyed making up stories in it. There is a sleeping giant and a storyteller’s chair. |

In our music and science lessons we can explore the sounds around the music trail from one end to the other. Speak on the flower telephone, listen to the different sounds and feel the vibrations as you hit the giant triangle. |
For a great exploration try our maze. It was designed by children in Year 4, who worked with an artist. It is brilliant for new games. Follow the stone paths looking carefully at the patterns. Hide in the dome or join you friends on the bank |

The entrance to the KS2 building is inviting. You can find a good book and share it, while sitting in the relaxing atmosphere. There are reading books and information to be found here. |
We all visit the I.T. suite twice a week. We use the internet to search for information; draw scenes using paint tools, create newspaper reports and information posters. These are just some of the skills we learn plus there are touch typing lessons. |

Our school is named after the wood that is next to the school. We are lucky enough to be able to visit the wood and observe the wild life during our science and geography lessons |
