Welcome from the Headteacher, Mr Rod Halls
Our aim at Linton Heights is to create a dynamic and inclusive learning community, where good teaching and a broad curriculum enable all pupils to make excellent progress and develop the confidence, thinking and communication skills needed to live happy, fulfilled lives.
We aim to be a welcoming and friendly community in which we foster a strong sense of belonging; we are committed to meeting the needs of all pupils regardless of their status, gender, race or belief. We set high standards in all areas: staff, pupils, governors and parents work collaboratively to this end. We believe that children achieve most when they are given opportunities to develop personally, socially, morally and spiritually and put a high emphasis on the development of these attributes in pupils.
We work increasingly hard to provide an interactive and stimulating learning environment where ICT is used to its best advantage. Children are encouraged to take an active part in their learning. Commitment, participation and achievement are strongly encouraged and a system of rewards and praises recognises pupil effort and celebrates success.
