  • provide a caring, orderly, purposeful, supportive and technological environment in which pupils can reach the highest level in personal, social, moral, emotional and academic standards.
  • enable pupils to develop self awareness, self esteem and self discipline.
  • help and encourage pupils to evaluate and develop personal qualities, knowledge and skills which will enable them to become confident members of society, sensitive to the needs of others.
  • prepare pupils to make informed choices, so that they can meet challenges and grasp opportunities which they will encounter in the world beyond school.

  • collaberate with post-16 establishments to ensure continuity and progression for advanced students and to provide others in the local community with the opportunity to study modern languages as part of their life long learning.
  • build on links with the wider community which includes local, national and overseas businesses, overseas educational establishments and teacher training agencies.
