The Academy is back in full swing again after the Summer holidays and pupils and staff have quickly settled back into the routine of school. It is good to see the tremendous support for school uniform with almost all pupils adhering to the Dress Code. We appreciate that some families face financial difficulties in providing uniform and if you are in this position, please contact Mrs Lewis who will be able to advise about clothing grants and other means to ensure your child does not feel disadvantaged by not having a uniform.
We extend a particular welcome to our First Year pupils and parents; the June induction week went very well and our new intake have, in the main, adjusted to life in the ‘big school’.
