Lordswood Boys & Sixth Form Centre
Hagley Road, B17 8BJ Birmingham
0121-464 2837

Welcome to the new, improved Lordswood Boys' School Web Site. Lordswood Boys' is situated four miles from the centre of Birmingham, UK. The school was opened in 1957 and I have been Head Teacher here since September 2001. All schools are different and some of the things that are different about Lordswood are:

It is a small school. Individual boys are well known by the teachers. Their strengths and weaknesses are often discussed in the staff room and this creates an atmosphere where each boy can be helped according to his need with the aim of developing individuals to achieve their maximum potential
It is an all boys school. Some research indicates that boys perform better in single sex schools and we are proud of our examination results.

It is a multi-cultural school. We have four main ethnic groups in the school: Indian, Pakistani, White and Black. This rich variety of backgrounds makes the school an interesting environment in which to work."

The School has now gained the much coveted Sports College Status.
