The present head teacher is Mrs Marjory Smith who came here in November 1999, after Mr Donald McGilp retired in October of that year.

There are three other teachers - Mrs. Ritchie (P1, 2 and 3),  Mrs Watson (P3 and 4), and Mrs Murray who is the head teacher relief and shares the teaching of P5, 6 and 7 with Mrs Smith. 

There are currently 56 pupils.  As you can see from the class divisions, one of the classes is split.


·       Breakfast club: held every morning just before school starts

·       Badminton: every Tuesday after school, from October to March

·        Scottish Country dancing: every Wednesday, after school, from October to March

·       Cycling proficiency: training for P6 & 7, in blocks, as required

·       Football training: every Saturday morning, weather permitting and no match
