Sharing Excellence

From 1999-2005 we were proud to be a part of the Government’s Beacon School Programme. This Programme was phased out in August 2005. We continue to share our good practice by being a “Hands on Support School” for ICT and by being a part of the South Birmingham Primary Network.

OUR SCHOOL AIMS

Message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to Lyndon Green Infant School, a school where the children are at the heart of all we do, and where each child is encouraged to achieve success and develop a love of learning that we hope will continue throughout the rest of their school career and on into adult life.

PARTNERSHIP and COMMUNICATION are vital to achieve success.

our head teacher, Mr. Yeardsley

But success doesn’t happen by magic. All school staff work together with the pupils, their parents, our governors, pre-schools and feeder schools, members of the local community and various L.E.A. agencies. I have always felt privileged to lead such a dedicated team, and together we work hard to foster an ethos where all children feel safe and happy within an environment that is welcoming and stimulating, promoting an excellent climate for learning and success.

CURRICULUM planning and assessment that meets the needs of all pupils
is vital to successful learning.

Mr. Yeardsley and 3 star pupils!
We have a well planned curriculum that focuses on structured development of the basic skills within a broad and balanced thematic programme with activities that can be tailored to meet the needs of all pupils, both the least and most able, with lots of enrichment activities to make learning meaningful and enjoyable, ensuring that the children are keen to come back for more!
