In idyllic surroundings amongst woods and orchards on the slopes of the North Downs, the School is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the village of Milstead. Pupils are drawn from Milstead, Frinsted, Wormshill and other villages in the area, as well as Sittingbourne, which lies four miles to the North.
The School was founded in 1848 and is still partly housed in the original building although there is now a modern extension which was completed in 2000, a toilet block and a separate mobile classroom. The extensive grounds include an all-weather playground, a playing field and a tree trail which ensures all pupils can take part in a variety of sporting and physical activities.
The School is also a member of the South Sittingbourne Cluster of small primary schools, a lively liaison group that offers the benefits of joint activities such as sport and theatre visits. As well as being both educational and enjoyable, these joint activities help the children to develop their social and communication skills.
At Milstead and Frinsted Primary School we have a dedicated team of teachers offering a high standard of education in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where each child is encouraged to develop their individual strengths and helped to overcome difficulties.

Our School aims and objectives are:
To ensure that each child has the opportunity to make progress as they move through the school, to achieve the highest academic goals of which they are capable.
Everything that is undertaken in order to achieve these aims must encourage children to develop those skills and attitudes that will ensure that they become independent learners, responsible for their own development.
Our Vision:
At the heart of our school we believe that our friendly, family, Christian ethos promotes confident, happy pupils. We strive to:
- Bring out the best in each child
- Promote respect for everyone and our environment
- Encourage responsibility for ourselves and each other
- Foster strong links with the wider community.
