Muscliff Mission Statement Our mission is to maximise the progress of all our children so that they become positive, caring, competent citizens and lifelong learners.

The School Muscliff Primary School is a beautifully light and airy building which provides an excellent environment for learning. Originally built in 1997 as a one-form entry school it now admits 60 children in two classes of 30 in each year. This is due to local demand for places in this school and the Government's wish to limit early years class sizes to 30. |

Behaviour
In general, our attitude to discipline will be that of a reasonable, caring parent. If problems do arise it will be our policy to consult and work with parents from an early stage. As a school we try to have as few rules as possible and those rules are concerned with your child's safety and well -being in school.
* We try to explain to the children why rules exist.
* We praise children for being good, we try to encourage them to value and like themselves and be supportive to others, both in their learning and in social situations.
Within the school we encourage an atmosphere of tolerance and care towards others and expect children to respect their peers as well as adults.
* We expect reasonable behaviour at all times and encourage children to be friendly, helpful and polite.
One of the school's main aims is to promote self-discipline and a sense of responsibility within the community.
Any disciplinary action taken is likely to be one of the following forms - withdrawal of privileges, the missing of playtime or any similar imposition, whichever is the most appropriate.
