Newbridge Preparatory School
51 Newbridge Crescent, WV6 0LH Wolverhampton

We are a small, personal school where everyone knows everyone else. We foster an environment in which girls can grow in confidence, learning honesty, consideration, loyalty and openness.Realising Potential
We believe that to realise an individual’s potential, education has to encompass a breadth and depth of experience.

Highest Standards
We strive for the highest standards in all the academic subjects of the curriculum - but we also offer every girl the opportunity to experience and achieve across a range of activities.

Traditional Values
We believe in traditional values, where self-discipline and good manners are important and where each individual is encouraged to respect and value others.

Successful Track Record
We have a successful track record of encouraging each individual to realise her potential.

The attitudes and values learnt at Newbridge will prepare your daughter for senior school and equip her for achievement in later life.

About As

Newbridge Preparatory School has been an independent day school in Wolverhampton since 1937. It operates a Nursery & Lower School for girls from 2 to 7 years old, and an Upper School for girls from 7 to 11 years old.  Our Mission Statement is:

AIMING HIGH                         BUILDING BRIDGES                          PREPARING FOR LIFE.

Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Lower School (2-7)
Girls are accepted into our purpose-built Nursery  following their third birthday. They may attend for five mornings,  any number of full days. Boys may join us from the age of two years until four years old.

In February 2008 we will have a new Pre-Nursery for two year olds.

Practical Activity
There is an emphasis on practical activity, with excellent facilities for the girls to enjoy. We also have beautiful grounds that provide an attractive environment for both learning and recreation. Our Nursery has a self contained garden that lends itself to working as an Outdoor Classroom.

Right Foundation
We concentrate upon providing each child with the right foundational start in a caring and stimulating environment.

Small Classes
We recognise the importance of good supervision and concentrate on small class sizes and a high staff ratio. There is a teaching assistant in every Lower School class assisting and supporting our highly qualified teachers.
