Our Headteacher is Mrs Claire Cowlard and our Chair of Governors is Mr I Piper.
Offwell School is situated in the centre of Offwell Village, opposite St. Mary's Church. There are four main classrooms, three small playgrounds, a garden area and a small meadow. We have a strong history and a bright future. We encourage all our children to have self discipline, to care for others, to enjoy life to the full, to be courteous and punctual, friendly and open.
The aims and ethos at Offwell School are that we aim to help all of our pupils develop the appropriate skills and attitudes and to make the very most of their abilities in every area. School should be a lively and happy place, where children experience good discipline and structure, but also care and love; where they feel secure enough to question and think for themselves; where they can work hard and have fun. Every member of the school is part of a team and must feel valued and important.
Our children are growing up in an increasingly multi-cultural society, and as never before we are preparing them to become international citizens. We must encourage our children to have self discipline, to care for others, to enjoy life to the full, to be courteous and punctual, friendly and open - school years are very precious and we must not allow them to be wasted.
