Friends of Parkside
As you are all aware the Parkside Parents Association ceased to exist in April of this year, however a new group has been formed and renamed the Friends of Parkside and will be run much the same as the old committee but we are hoping to attract more parents/carers.
If you have been involved with the committee in the past or are new to the school and would like to be involved please feel free to come along to the next meeting on Tuesday 11th September at 3.30pm.
French Fayre
On Friday 13th July Parkside held its Summer Fayre.
The fayre had a French theme and all the children had a chance to spend the afternoon walking around the school enjoying the many stalls and sampling the many flavours of France.
The event raised £673.55 which will be put towards funding for a school minibus.
Thankyou to all who attended and helped with the event.
We will keep you informed of any future events.
Year 8 Prom
The year 8 prom will be on Wednesday 18th July between 7.30 and 9.30pm.
If anybody can help during the evening, either before ,during or after please let me know as soon as possible via the school office.
There will be food available during the evening it is usually a buffet.
iI look forward to hearing from you.
