Plawsworth Road Infant School is an attractive modern building set in it's own landscaped grounds in a quiet cul-de-sac off Plawsworth Road.

Our school provides a happy, warm learning environment for children from the ages of four to seven years.

We were praised by OFSTED in May 2002 for the quality of teaching, the high standards of achievements in maths and literacy and the excellent relationships within the school.

  • Head plus 2 teachers, 1 full time teaching assistant and 1 apprentice in Childcare

  • consistantly good SAT results  Level 2

Due to generous staffing the children are invited to attend morning sessions in the year prior to starting school

A Breakfast club operates from 8.15 each morning.

The school is in negotiation with neighbouring schools to provide after school care.

Ofsted said "Plawsworth Road Infants is a very good school with considerable strengths.."
