Set in a rural community, it is only 10 minutes from Bedford. The school has small year groups, specialist teaching skills, and generous playing fields.

Parents are welcomed and actively involved in school life. A thriving PTA organises social events, as well as spearheading fundraising activities.
The many advantages of being a small school are complemented by involvement in local and national events, and joint activities with other local schools.
The school offers a before and after school club and many extra curricula activities including sport and music. The option of a school meal is available to all full-time children.
Ravensden has three intake terms and welcomes your child the term after their 4th birthday.
Applejacks Pre-School is sited within the school grounds, and takes children from two and a half years old. Applejacks is an independent, non profit making group (affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance) and provides a safe nurturing environment, offering a broad and balanced pre-school curriculum.
The majority of parents of children attending Applejacks elect to send them to the school. Regular liaison ensures that the transition is smooth.
Peter Pan At the end of term we held our production of Peter Pan
We all had beautiful costumes made by the PTA. We also sang some lovely songs. Our favourites were, My name is Captain Hook and Never Smile at a Crocodile
