Parents are welcomed and actively involved in school life. A thriving PTA organises social events, as well as spearheading fundraising activities.

The many advantages of being a small school are complemented by involvement in local and national events, and joint activities with other local schools.

The school offers a before and after school club and many extra curricula activities including sport and music. The option of a school meal is available to all full-time children.

Ravensden has three intake terms and welcomes your child the term after their 4th birthday.

Applejacks Pre-School is sited within the school grounds, and takes children from two and a half years old. Applejacks is an independent, non profit making group (affiliated to the Pre-School Learning Alliance) and provides a safe nurturing environment, offering a broad and balanced pre-school curriculum.

The majority of parents of children attending Applejacks elect to send them to the school. Regular liaison ensures that the transition is smooth.
