Welcome to Our School!!!

The school is sited near to the town centre of Cullompton. This small former, market town is situated in mid-Devon and is adjacent to Junction 28 of the M5. The town is growing rapidly and serves as a commuter town for Exeter and Taunton. Tiverton Parkway railway station is close by. There are many new housing developments on the town fringes, yet the central part of the town retains much of its old identity and there is a strong community feeling. Our school occupies a large site with extensive facilities, and is easily accessed from the town and surrounding areas.

We provide quality education, which is demonstrated by the progress the children make during their time in our care.

  • To provide a happy, caring, safe environment and a curriculum of the highest quality. This will enable our children to achieve the highest personal standards and develop a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
  • To develop attitudes and values which will help each child to become a confident person able to contribute effectively and generously to the life of society.
  • To encourage our children to be responsible global citizens who care about the world.
  • To promote a sense of spiritual awareness
  • To encourage our children to reflect upon their own attitudes, values and beliefs and respect those of others.
  • To give equal opportunities to all members of our school community.

Devon Education Authority provides a statement of curriculum aims. Our Governing Body has adopted these as a basis for establishing our own school aims. The Headteacher and the teaching staff are very willing to discuss any aspect of the curriculum. Please ask whenever you feel you would like to know more about what is taught, why it is taught and how it is taught. From time to time there will be opportunities provided to come into our School and find out more about how we approach key areas such as 'reading' . Teaching and

Our School is a co-educational school for children from 4 - 11 years and is organised into 9 classes by age. Most classes have mixed year groups within them although changes in pupil numbers may require alternative organisation from time to time.

The children spend most of their day with their classteacher. Teaching assistants are employed to support the teacher. Our teaching assistants also support children with special needs.
