At St Michael’s we provide a caring environment in a Christian context and offer all children a broad and balanced curriculum in line with National Curriculum requirements. There is also a wide range of extra curricular activities for pupils to extend their individual talents and interests.

Our new school provides an excellent ‘state of the art’ building. This alone does not make a school. Our recent OfSTED report states "staff have created a happy, safe, caring and supportive learning environment".

Our school has 13 classrooms, a studio, practical room, ICT suite, library and large hall. The grounds provide 2 large playgrounds, football field, quiet seating areas and large environmental area.

Our Vision is:

  • to be a distinctive school with a strong Christian ethos;
  • promoting high standards through positive and active learning
  • to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment promoting Christian values and developing children’s spirituality
  • to be a school where all people are valued and contribute fully to the life of the community
  • to encourage children of all abilities to develop their potential, in an inclusive environment
  • to work in partnership with parents and the wider community.
