Where hands create, hearts are cherished, thought is inspired and learning flourishes.
Sutton Benger School is a small, friendly village Primary school that seeks to maintain high standards and excitement about learning.
We have around 140 children aged from 4 to 11, who are taught in 5 classes, all mixed age except for Class 1, our Reception children.
We are extremely proud of all that goes on here.
As our website demonstrates, the children at Sutton Benger are supported in their learning by enthusiastic and dedicated staff, governors and parents.
Our Vision Statement...
Where hands create, hearts are cherished,
thought is inspired and learning flourishes.
Benger Bears Pre-school is situated in the village hall next to Sutton Benger Primary School. Our priority is to provide a friendly, safe environment that by learning through play, aims to assist in the development of 'well rounded children'.

Benger Bears encourages in the children the 'early learning goals' which are standards required of pre-schools by the government.
Benger Bears is accredited by the Pre-school Learning Alliance under the 'Aiming for Quality' scheme and we are regulated by OFSTED. We maintain close links with Sutton Benger Primary School with a very good settling in system for children moving up to Reception Class at Sutton Benger Primary School each September.

Our staff are qualified and experienced members of a close, professional team supervised by Jane Cooke. We run a key-worker system which ensures that each child and family has one particular member of staff who takes a special interest in him or her.
Benger Bears Pre-school is open 4 days a week from 9am to 3pm and follows the same term times as Sutton Benger Primary School. Benger Bears accepts voucher funding for 3 and 4 years old from the Wiltshire County Council.
