The Curriculum at Key Stage Three (Years Seven to Nine) includes the Core Subjects of English, Mathematics and Science together with Technology, French, Spanish, German, Geography, History, Religious Education, PSD (Personal and Social Development) Art, Music, Drama and P.E. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is taught throughout the school.
In Year Seven, Mathematics is taught in sets and both Modern Foreign Languages and Science are set for students from Year Eight. At Key Stage Four (Years Ten – Eleven) students are required to study English, Mathematics, Science, Technology and Religious Education.
Additionally, there is a very wide choice of Options including Geography, History, Art, Music, Drama, P.E, Business Studies, ICT, Child Care, Foreign Languages together with the ICT European Computer Driving Licence, Hairdressing and many more.
In the Sixth Form we are able to offer a very wide range and combination of subjects and admission is based on achievement at GCSE. |
