Below is a quick guide to some awards offered by the University of Bath for 2007. The University of Bath offers Undergraduate Merit Scholarships in several departments, as well as departmental help with course costs.
International scholarships The International Office administers a £240,000 scholarship scheme for Undergraduate and Taught Masters students including 40 undergraduate merit-based awards to the value of £3,000 and 40 Masters scholarships to the value of £3,000. more details »
RB & SE Whorrod Bursary Up to £6,000 (£1,500pa) for exceptional Mechanical Engineering or Electronic & Electrical Engineering students with limited financial resources. Apply to the Faculty of Engineering & Design.
Alumni Fund Merit Scholarships £1,000 to selected high achieving undergraduate entrants studying Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Modern Languages & European Studies. more details »

The RW Barnes Educational Fund Bursaries of £2,000 pa are available to undergraduates with limited financial resources in all years (excluding Placements) studying Mathematics, Physics or Engineering, living within a 40 mile radius of Beckington, Somerset. Bath Bursaries The University have an unlimited number of bursaries of up to £1500 for eligible new students from 2006. You will be eligible for a bursary if you receive all or part of the £2700 Government grant. more details »
The Hertzian Fund This fund has been set up by Electronic & Electrical Engineering alumni in support of academic excellence within the department. A scholarship worth £1,000pa is awarded annually to the best new UK undergraduate.

We are delighted to be offering University of Bath bursaries to all those receiving a Government grant. These bursaries are unlimited: we will provide them to any student assessed as eligible for Government support.
Bursaries will be paid directly in to your bank account, in instalments and will normally be available for each year of full-time study. Students who receive a Government grant will be eligible for a bursary of at least £300 during a placement year. Higher awards may be available. |
