It might be your first taste of independence, or maybe you’re taking a few years off work to gain a qualification.
Whatever your situation, the University of Bedfordshire is a great place to make new friends and broaden your horizons.
The University provides a diverse environment with a rich mix of students of all ages from all cultural and social backgrounds.
Most first year students are moving away from home for the first time. You can be sure that you will have comfortable and safe campus accommodation where you will be able to relax, meet new friends, party and, of course, study!

The University operates on three main campuses, Luton, Bedford and Putteridge Bury. The campuses are small and friendly; each with its own special atmosphere. It is easy to find your way around and to get to know people.
Luton and Bedford are lively student-friendly towns with vibrant social scenes. Both towns have a strong multicultural feel, offering food, drink and entertainment from all over the world.
Even the most independent individual needs some support sometimes. We don’t expect you to cope with all the challenges of university life alone, so a range of student services is available to all our students.
The Study Abroad Programme offers undergraduate students the opportunity to study a semester or an academic year at one of our partner institutions in Europe, Canada, Japan and the USA.
Campus life
The University operates on three main campuses, Luton, Bedford and Putteridge Bury.
The campuses are small and friendly; each with its own special atmosphere. It is easy to find your way around and to get to know people.
Luton campus is opposite the Luton town centre shopping centre - with all other campus facilities within easy walking distance too.
Bedford is a smaller campus based within easy walking distance of the town centre of Bedford.
Putteridge Bury campus is out in the country - ideal for a summer picnic in the beautiful grounds.
Travelling between Luton campus and Putteridge Bury campus is easy with the University shuttle bus service which operates Monday to Friday go to minibus timetable
