International Students
International students are an important part of the University’s culture and success. With over 4,000 international students from nearly 150 different countries, you won’t be alone; you’ll be helped by a broad support network from within the University and the local community.
Whether you're looking for an undergraduate or a postgraduate course, you'll be able to find information about every aspect of your application, your finances and your travel to the UK - and once you're here, there are plenty of resources to help you.
Although it is a rewarding experience, it can be hard living and studying in a foreign country, so we provide a strong support network which will help during your stay. Our Welcome Week and social programmes for new students will help you settle into student life, there is a medical centre on campus, and you'll have access to free English language classes run by the English for International Students Unit (EISU), which will help you speak, listen, read and write in English.
We're sure that Birmingham will very quickly start to feel like a second home to you.
You should be able to find all you need to know about accommodation at Birmingham, finances and fees, and how to enjoy both city and campus life here. If you have any questions at all, please call
+44 121 414 3344 or email us, and we'll do all we can to help.
We look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham.
