Victoria Road School is in the historic Southern Aberdeen district of Torry .The school occupies a sloping site between Victoria Road to the South and Abbey Road to the North.The school enjoys wonderful views of the harbour and the North Sea and is the nearest Aberdeen school to the sea.

The school teaches children from the ages of 3-12 or from Nursery age to Primary 7.There are presently 112 children between primary 1 and 7 and 30 children in the nursery.

The school has a large playground surrounding the school building and a nursery garden adjacent to the playground with play fixtures for use by the nursery children.
