Welcome to Westmeads Community Infant School where we are continuing to strive for excellence in partnership with the children, parents, governors and staff.
Our school is located on the North Kent Coast in the town of Whitstable.
At present we have six classes from Reception to Year 2, with a total of 168 children. Our children are challenged, nurtured and encouraged to embrace learning through a varied and creative curriculum.
The school proudly displays the awards won over the past few years, including an ICT Mark and the Basic Skills Award. We have recently been granted Healthy Schools Status.
We have a very successful PTA., who regularly organise fund raising events together with the occasional social event. Each year the PTA provide the school with money for new equipment and resources. |
