Our school is located in the village of Witchampton in the Cranborne Chase. It is a small, friendly school that provides a happy, caring and creative learning environment for children aged 4 to 9 years of age.

Whilst our school is physically small, we have great ambitions to grow as life long learners and to be part of a world-wide community. Everyone is encouraged to develop and share all their talents—whether they are pupils, members of staff or part of our community of families and friends.

Our role as a Church School is important to us. Everyone in the school is valued and respected and encouraged to have the same respect for themselves, others and the wonderful world we have been given to live in and care for.

To create a secure yet challenging learning environment within which each child is valued for the gifts he/she has and is encouraged to develop them.

As a Christian community to promote a growing appreciation of the Christian way of life and of religious belief.

To help the children develop personal and moral values and show respect for other people and their way of life and the wonderful world we have been given.

To help the children to develop the experiences, knowledge, skills and understandings to live life to the full both now as children and in the future as valuable members of their communities.

The school has extensive grounds with a lower courtyard as well as a playground and field at a higher level. The lower courtyard has picnic benches for school lunches in the summer and outdoor working space for painting and sand and water for Class 1. We have recently planted two large planters with fruits and vegetables and there are also planters for flowers. Parents collect their children from the lower courtyard at the end of the school day.

Inside the school there are two main classroom areas which can each accommodate up to 30 children; a central resource area which includes a computer network and library and which also provides space for assemblies, music and large construction or play activities, a kitchen and a small teaching room in addition to the cloakrooms for Class 1 and Class 2. The secretary and head teacher have an office and reception area inside the main entrance.
